I formed the spike part years ago, and made molds to recast it &#8211; but as with a lot of materials related to this project those spike molds have been lost. Compared to the two-part mold I previously used for the spike, a one-part mold should have less distortion and no parting line. However it also becomes harder to produce a good, bubble-free casting, especially without my pressure casting gear set up.
