Ideas for FZ project: 1: I seem to be having a lot of trouble trying to draw up plans for the model that I'm really happy with. It might make sense to tackle this problem by starting with photos of the model, and translating those into a technical drawing of the unaltered model, altering the drawings in GIMP or similar, and printing them out for use as the basis of hand-drawn plans. Then I can establish proportions and measurements and design alterations according to the plans. 2: More freehand-drawing excercises may be useful as well, using the model kit and the lineart, and anime scenes as references. I think the better I can draw the design, the better an understanding I'll have of how it should really look. 3: Analysis of "bad" versions of the FZ might be helpful, too. If I figure out what's wrong with them, I'll know a little more about the FZ.
